        Fixed gear became more famous after the movie Premium Rush was displayed in the movie theater. This movie is filled with lots of cool action of bike riding, and the acting in this film also made fix gear fascinating.

The actor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was the main character, Wilee in Premium Rush. It was his first film after acting Robin in The Dark Knight Rises. He used to play the role in G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Inception, which won lots of Oscar awards in 2011. From 2010, he had been an actor-director-screenwriter of two short films of Morgan M. Morgansen and one movie, Don Jon, which was just released in September.

In Premium Rush, Joseph worked as an express delivery guy who shuttle his bike in the traffic in New York. It was their skills of riding bike make them deliver the important packages on time. In the movie, there are lots of screens of first person perspective when shuttling in traffic and some screens of how the bike riders choose the right way to pass the cars. These screens made the movie extremely exciting.

Fixed gear is the kind of bike Wilee ride in Premium Rush. It was invented in 19 century. Different from normal bike, there’s no brake on fixed gear and it’s only single speed. Although fixed gear is lighter than normal bike, it required lots of skills to ride it. The reason why there’s lots of express delivery guys ride bike in the city is that there are more possible action you can make on fixed gear.

Recently, there are more events related to fixed gear. For example, there are some racing competitions in Chungli in August. Nowadays, fixed gear is known for customization. Want to be cool as Joseph? Try to get your own fixed gear and ride with others!

The special order in the left side is Dry Noodles. The noodles is special because before cooking it need to be fried. Then, it taste very delicious. And you must eat with the special soup-Pig Tongue soup. It go smoothly in your mouth. Then, after the midnight meal, you must need some dessert! Exactly, the shop is next to the Dry noodles. The owner of this shop is the brother of the famous female singer in Taiwan. Their special is sweet round bun and almond tea. You must be very careful when you taste it because you can feel pulp spurted from the sweet round bun and it’s so hot and sweet. If you try this one, I bet you won’t try others sweet round bun! If you are still feel hungry in the midnight, Mother's Lin's fry chicken is another chose for you. The location is in Siziwan, near the National Sun Yat-sen University. In the night, there will full of students waiting for eat this because it really juicy! When you get the first bite, your teeth will feel the fry part is so crisp. Then, the chicken part is so soft and juicy, almost everyone will be scalded by the hot juice from chicken. Another way to taste this wonderful meal is to seat on the coast side, look the stars on the sky and enjoy Mother's Lin's chicken. If you are not the local people here, you must come to Siziwan and try it! There is a legend that in the midnight, about two O'clock, an old man will ride a bike and sale ghostly sausage near the bridge in Shan Ming district. This time, on the Oct.23, we finally visited and tasted it because we had already missed three times. The old man is very casual, you won't know the specific time when will the old man arrive or the day he will show up, so it is normal when you miss it. Although the stand only appear at midnight, lots of people are still flock around and eat the sausage with smoke. This is really a special experience, if you work late or feel hungry at midnight, you must get a try to taste the ghostly sausage.
