     Anna and I made the video by Power Director. I chose the photos and music, and typed the texts in the video. Anna drew the tuna fish and chose the type of fonts in the video. All the photos we used in the video was taken in Carrefour. There are different kinds of products produced from tuna fish. We use these products very often, especially tuna cans.
     Belle and William made the Lay Out.
     We should used a clear lay out and in a much serious ways.
     The animation we made is cool.

International relief is being airlifted into the Philippines in the aftermath
of Typhoon Haiyan which has caused widespread devastation and killed more than ten thousand people.
Relief workers are struggling to reach some of the more remote areas affected by the typhoon.
Pope Francis is urging people around the world to send aid to the Philippines, and U-S President Barack Obama has issued a statement saying he's deeply saddened by the loss of life and extensive damage caused by the storm.
Our Washington Correspondent Simon Marks says U-S aid is now on its way.

Meanwhile...
Northern coastal areas of Vietnam and parts of southern China are bracing for
the landfall of Typhoon Haiyan.
Some 600-thousand people have been evacuated from at-risk regions in Vietnam.
China issued a typhoon alert for Hainan island, Guangdong and Guangxi after
Haiyan's path changed.
The latest forecast suggests the typhoon will make landfall south of Hanoi
this morning.
The typhoon will have decreased markedly in strength from the Category Five
storm that swept through the Philippines. Haiyan is expected to hit as a
Category One typhoon.
There is a possibility of heavy rainfall and widespread flooding, including
in Hanoi itself.
Sustained wind speeds are currently forecast to be in the region of 120 to
140 km per hour.

Looking at the weather across Taiwan ...
We can expect ....
Mostly cloudy skies and occasional rain in the north - w/ a high of 23 in
Taipei.
And .... partly cloudy skies in the center and south - w/ a high of 27 in
Taichong and a high of 29 in the Gaoxiong area.

    This is the link to the Ezine we made in the course of mass media. I took the pictures of the front page and back cover and wrote the article about Joseph. Although the process of making the Ezine took lots of time, the experience is really unforgettable. We had lots of fun finding the best cuisine in Kaohsiung and enjoy all the food on our Fasine.  Hope you can enjoy it as we do!

Fixed Gear

        Fixed gear became more famous after the movie Premium Rush was displayed in the movie theater. This movie is filled with lots of cool action of bike riding, and the acting in this film also made fix gear fascinating.

The actor, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, was the main character, Wilee in Premium Rush. It was his first film after acting Robin in The Dark Knight Rises. He used to play the role in G. I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra and Inception, which won lots of Oscar awards in 2011. From 2010, he had been an actor-director-screenwriter of two short films of Morgan M. Morgansen and one movie, Don Jon, which was just released in September.

In Premium Rush, Joseph worked as an express delivery guy who shuttle his bike in the traffic in New York. It was their skills of riding bike make them deliver the important packages on time. In the movie, there are lots of screens of first person perspective when shuttling in traffic and some screens of how the bike riders choose the right way to pass the cars. These screens made the movie extremely exciting.

Fixed gear is the kind of bike Wilee ride in Premium Rush. It was invented in 19 century. Different from normal bike, there’s no brake on fixed gear and it’s only single speed. Although fixed gear is lighter than normal bike, it required lots of skills to ride it. The reason why there’s lots of express delivery guys ride bike in the city is that there are more possible action you can make on fixed gear.

Recently, there are more events related to fixed gear. For example, there are some racing competitions in Chungli in August. Nowadays, fixed gear is known for customization. Want to be cool as Joseph? Try to get your own fixed gear and ride with others!

Night Snack in Kaohsiung

Don’t know where to go when you are hungry at midnight? That is fine! We have already arrange you some delicious food. You just need to have enough stomach and ready for the foods! First, we would like to take you to the Yancheng Dist. This place always full of people who are hungry at midnight. There are two shops open between each other in a small alley. The special order in the left side is Dry Noodles. The noodles is special because before cooking it need to be fried. Then, it taste very delicious. And you must eat with the special soup-Pig Tongue soup. It go smoothly in your mouth. Then, after the midnight meal, you must need some dessert! Exactly, the shop is next to the Dry noodles. The owner of this shop is the brother of the famous female singer in Taiwan. Their special is sweet round bun and almond tea. You must be very careful when you taste it because you can feel pulp spurted from the sweet round bun and it’s so hot and sweet. If you try this one, I bet you won’t try others sweet round bun! If you are still feel hungry in the midnight, Mother's Lin's fry chicken is another chose for you. The location is in Siziwan, near the National Sun Yat-sen University. In the night, there will full of students waiting for eat this because it really juicy! When you get the first bite, your teeth will feel the fry part is so crisp. Then, the chicken part is so soft and juicy, almost everyone will be scalded by the hot juice from chicken. Another way to taste this wonderful meal is to seat on the coast side, look the stars on the sky and enjoy Mother's Lin's chicken. If you are not the local people here, you must come to Siziwan and try it! There is a legend that in the midnight, about two O'clock, an old man will ride a bike and sale ghostly sausage near the bridge in Shan Ming district. This time, on the Oct.23, we finally visited and tasted it because we had already missed three times. The old man is very casual, you won't know the specific time when will the old man arrive or the day he will show up, so it is normal when you miss it. Although the stand only appear at midnight, lots of people are still flock around and eat the sausage with smoke. This is really a special experience, if you work late or feel hungry at midnight, you must get a try to taste the ghostly sausage.

Ipswich Thief of Kindergarten

At about 11 pm, the thief broke walls with tools in a private kindergarten in Ipswich, Suffolk. £ 1,200 was taken in the nursery’s wheelie bin. Luckily, there was no victim. According to a nursery school, they have been so shocked when they were just a nursery. Police said they would do all they could to arrest the thief.
